Haz's Jackalopes

The fearsome critter cryptid of American folklore: Jackalopes!

Distant cousin of the Wolpertinger found in German folklore.

These rare hare variants spawn less than regular hares, though live in a wider variety of climates.

They offer the usual carves, with the loot addition of antlers in both male and female variants.

Do note that unlike other hares, they do have a chance to fight back when hurt, similar to a deer.

 

 

 

This is my third mod and is meant to familiarize myself with entity creation, and json patching. As I challenged myself to make this almost entirely with just json patches.

This was a bit difficult, if only because I kept it to json patches. For future entity mods of a similar nature, I won't limit myself to just json patches, but now I've a good grasp of their benefits and limitations.

 

Version 0.9.1 is compatable with the HarePet mod. (Note: To avoid conflicts with HarePet, I've made the compatability with PetAI dependant on HarePet in order to avoid overlapping patches, since Jackalopes are a variant of hares.)
