About this project

What does Sterile Bandages v1.0.0 (DEPRECATED) add?

Sterile Bandages v1.0.0

NOTE: With bandages now having healing values as of version 1.20 this mod is deprecated and no longer required

A mod that allows you to craft alcohol-soaked bandages from jugs containing aqua vitae, and changes how alcohol-soaked bandages work so when they expire they turn into a new sterile bandages item, which can still be used to provide healing but only provide 3hp of healing which is significantly weaker than the 7hp of that alcohol-soaked bandages but it does mean they don't become useless after the paltry one in-game hour lifetime of alcohol-soaked bandages expires.
This way you don't have to mess around with the crafting grid to craft soaked bandages from the then useless clean bandages mid-combat which leaves you vulnerable and liable to be killed when you need healing the most. Whilst it's difficult to beat the convenience and accessibility of the horsetail-reed bandage these sterile bandages should go some length to try and fulfill the same role.
