About this project

What does Consolidated Classes add?

Work in progress. Currently mostly feature complete but other traits and items/recipies to be added in the future. Also requires balancing/testing, so constructive input is very welcome.

Consolidated classes is a classes mod that aims to consolidate several classes and their associated tropes down to only 5.

This mod is best used alongside the "RacialEquality" mod for the models and "Combat overhaul" for the combat balancing. Several other mods are integrated such as "Subtrate", and the "Blacksmith gloves". Code for the underground temporal stability system borrowed with approval from "GlooMeClasses".

The default Seraph race and default classes are left enabled incase you would like to use them along side these classes. If you have Recial equality installed, you will only be able to choose the classes from this mod by selecting the associated Race (ie. Human for Adamani).

The 5 classes are Adamani, Dwarrow, Ieldlis, Krohak, and Urroka.

Adamani

Adamani are a 'jack of all trades'. Able to help around the farm, house, field, or mine. Not specialised for a any one role, except farming and gear collection, but very specialised for our home.

Dwarrow

Dwarrow is the backbone of the team for smithing and ore. If the other classes are for food or clothes, the Dwarrow is for stone and metal. They are shorter and slower than most other races, but built of corded muscle and can take and give a beating.

Ieldlis

Often dwelling in forests and in tune with nature, they have a knack for ranged combat. They provide value to the homestead via scouting and foraging far off places and are excellent tailors and decent farmers.

Krohak

If you need something killed, speak to the nearest Krohak. Useful for the hard labour of mining but not for many other delicate tasks due to their large hands, though they are expert butchers. Ask yourself, how successful would your homestead be if enemies overrun it?

Urroka

The Urokka favour the dank, quiet places of the world. Many wild creatures are silently slain before they even know they are being hunted. A sneaky, devious race, not capable in a straight fight, but an Urokka will rarely let you have one of those.

FAQ:

  • Can I disable the class static assignment when using the Racial Equality visual mod? Yes there is a config file that you can find in the "ModConfig" folder that allows you to disable this option so any class from this mod and the base game can be used with any model.
  • Can I disable the Temporal stability settings for Dwarrow, Ieldlis, and Urokka? Yes the same config file allows you to control this if it's too inconvenient.
