What does YOU DIED add?

Vintage Story is widely known as the Dark Souls of voxel survival games[citation needed], but it doesn't have a gritty death effect. This mod fixes that!

 

Configurable via ModConfig/YouDied.json or ConfigLib

 

You can set multiple custom texts by separating your texts with a / character

 

To disable the sound effect, set the volume to 0 in the settings. You can also replace the sound effect by unzipping the mod and replacing assets/youdied/sounds/youdied.ogg. Make sure the file name is the exact same including casing.
