About this project

What does Unified Magic Theory add?

REQUIRES HYTALOR v2.1 or Higher

Hytalor logo

This is a simple asset pack containing changes to the game meant to act as a common, shared ground between other magic mods for easier compatibility!

Found an issue with my hytalor patches! Took down v1.2.4 to fix that ASAP! hotfix incoming within the hour!

Patch-First, Configurable at heart!

This api patches whenever possible, thanks to Hytalor. Changes marked as (Patch) are entirely made through Hytalor, and do not clash with any mod that changes the base items! Additionally, changes marked as (Configurable) can be changed in the mod's config file located at mods\Vyklade_Unified Magic Theory\UnifiedMagicTheory.json.

{  "EnableMana": true,  "MaxMana": 100.0}

Changes

Maximum Mana (Configurable)

  • Starting Maximum Mana is set to 100 (Configurable)
  • Mana recovery set to ~5% of maximum mana per second (Patch)
  • Mana recovery delay: 2.5 seconds of not being in combat (Patch)
  • Afer 22.5 seconds, the player instantly recovers all Mana (Disabled until It can be made togglable)

This should remain compatbile with skill/leveling mods, though their increases to max mana will be added on top of the initial 100!

New in 1.2.0 - The Loom

A new workbench, the Loom, has been added (It does not overwrite the vanilla loom block! So if any other mod modifies this, they two mods will coexist). This bench also has 3 tiers like the arcanist workbench.

The loom offers a space for mods to add magic armor. It contains the following tabs

  • (Bench id = UMT_Loombench)
  • Arcane_Hoods - For Head Armor
  • Arcane_Tunics - For Body Armor
  • Arcane_Gloves - For Hand Armor
  • Arcane_Pants - For Leg Armor
  • Arcane_Materials - For processing materials like bolts

Arcane Workbench (Patch)

Made craftabe in the early game. No longer requires Tier 2 Workbench and has 3 Tiers like the other armor and weapon working stations.

Starting on version 1.2.4, the Armor tabs in the Arcanist Workbench will be removed in favor for the Loom!

Arcane Workbench now has 6 additional tabs, listed by their IDs here:

  • Arcane_Spellbooks - For Spellbooks
  • Arcane_Staves - For Staves
