⛏️ OreFinder

OreFinder is a smart utility mod for Hytale designed to make mining and underground exploration more efficient by helping players track nearby ores with precision.

How it works

• Use /xray ui to open a simple interface where you can:
  • Select which ore types you want to track.
  • Set a custom scan interval.
• On each scan, OreFinder reports in chat the nearest detected ore distance for every selected ore type, relative to the player’s current position.

New: Dynamic waypoint (map marker)

OreFinder now also places a dynamic waypoint / map marker pointing to the closest matching ore among your current selection.

• The waypoint:
  • Updates automatically when you move and a better (closer) target is found.
  • Refreshes quickly when the current target is mined, so it doesn’t stay stuck on an invalid block.
  • Gets removed when tracking is disabled or when the player disconnects.
• Note: the marker uses a world-map supported icon (e.g., Home.png) to avoid placeholder icons.

Quick control

You can enable/disable tracking at any time with:

• /xray toggle
• /xray t

Perfect for players who want a more strategic mining experience: less time searching, more time gathering resources.
