About this project

What does Tavern Thyme add?

Tavern Thyme is a cozy, diner-dash styled mini game that can be added seamlessly to your world and will give you the tools you need to open your own Tavern and serve the patrons of Orbis. (Over two dozen unique customer NPCs!) The perfect addition for players who may have a surplus of crops or essence that they would like to use!

Custom Merchant & Tutorial Quests

To get started, all you need to do is summon the great Tymothy Thyrelius using the Thyme Almanac and the Mysterious Scarecrow in the Farmer's Workbench. Tymothy will get you started with a tutorial questline and will also be your merchant for tavern goods.

Tavern Buildin g

Build your very own tavern from scratch or save up your coins for one of the prefab Taverns offered by the great merchant, Tymothy Thyrelius.

(You are not required to use the prefabs to play the mini-game but you will be required to use the initial pop-up tavern to complete your tutorial quests. You can break it down after placing!)

"Thyme-Infused" Foods

Serve patrons from a menu full of Thyme-Infused foods and beverages!

"Thyme-Infused" Furniture

As you grow, you can level up your tavern and furniture to attract wealthier patrons to your Tavern!

Tips & Info

A "Helpful Information" item will be given to you after you complete the onboarding quests, which will provide you with useful tips. You can also read the"Player Instructions Manual"for more details on how to play.

Known Bugs

  • Patrons will find the most direct path to their seats. This may include phasing through windows/walls or walking on top of tables/furniture.
  • Prefabs placed will not overwrite existing blocks. If you would like to use a prefab from the merchant, be sure to clear the area before placing.
