About this project
What does True Tools add?
True Tools is a small gameplay mod that makes gathering feel a little more grounded.
Hard blocks can no longer be broken with your bare hands, while softer materials like dirt, gravel and moss still work as usual.
Tools also have their own purpose now. If a tool isn't meant for the type of block you're trying to break, it simply won't work. This makes carrying and using the right tools actually matter.
Durability matters too. Once a tool is completely broken, it stays unusable until it has been fully repaired.
