About this project

What does Advanced Team add?

Minecraft needs a team mechanic, because people like to play together.

The good news is that many mod devs realize this. But this is also bad news: too many devs add too many teams.

This mod is a fork of Teams HUD, a team mod that introduces a new team mechanic.

You probably wanna say: we already have so many teams in mod pack, why did you just make a new team mod?

That's the point: This mod aims to resolve the team compatibility problem, reducing the number of teams you have to manage.

Besides the compact feature, it implements several new things:

  1. A compass overlay to show teammates' positions, a status overlay to see teammates' status(health, hunger, potion effects, etc)
  2. fully GUI-driven function, with high modifiability by editing the config.
  3. Advancement sync

Support mod:

  • FTB Teams (Experiment): The following operation made in this mod will be synced to the FTB Teams:
    • Create: When creating a team, you'll also create an FTB Teams team if you don't have one.
    • Join: When you join a team, you'll also join the player's FTB Teams team, if they have one.
    • Leave: When you leave a team, you'll also leave the FTB Teams team, if you have one. Additionally, if you are the owner of the FTB Teams team, the ownership will be transferred to the next team leader, as decided by this mod.
    • Kick: When you kick a player, you'll also kick the player out of the FTB Teams team, if they are in your team.
    • Promote: When you promote a teammate, you'll also promote this teammate as an officer of the FTB Teams team.
  • Mine and Slash:
    • can show the health, magic shield, mana, energy, and blood.
    • Take over the MNS team. (Configurable)
    • Support the MNS effect render.
    • Can see Teammates' damage.
