About this project
What does ToastsBows add?
Added Attribute: Arrow Damage
Added several unique bows, crossbows, new arrows, and quivers — some creative, some overpowered.
Bows & Crossbows
Netherite Crossbow: Deals 2× vanilla crossbow damage. Arrows pierce through one additional mob.
Daedalus: Summons three arrows five blocks above the targeted block or entity, raining down on your aim point. (Inspired by Terraria.)
Beeshoney: When hitting a block, summons bees that last 5 seconds. These bees automatically target hostile mobs within a 32×32×32 block range around you. When using vanilla arrows, all damage dealt is proportionally converted into an equal number of bees. When using modded arrows, always summons exactly 2 bees instead.
Dusklight: During specific times of day, arrows deal 4× damage and apply a Glowing effect that lasts 30 seconds.
Singularity: On hit, creates a black hole that pulls in entities within 10×10×10 for 5 seconds. When the effect ends, if 3 or more entities are within 3×3×3, it explodes.
Chronos: Records all damage the target takes over the next 5 seconds after the first hit. After 5 seconds, detonates for total damage × 1.2. A second arrow can trigger the detonation early.
Snowbow: Can be charged for up to 5 seconds. On hit, summons a snowstorm that pelts nearby enemies with snowballs. Longer charge = longer storm duration.
Bambow: Half the draw speed and half the damage of a normal bow, but each hit stacks "Woodcarving" on the target, increasing Bambow's subsequent damage.
Bat Bow: Consumes health instead of arrows when fired. The bat flies in a straight line, auto-targeting nearby enemies. After attacking or missing, it returns to heal the user.
Shadow Bow: A fully charged arrow has a chance to spawn a miniature shadow clone of the player that fights alongside you. The clone disappears after a short duration.
Whistling Arrow: Fires a whistle-guided arrow that pierces through an unlimited number of mobs and follows your crosshair. While the arrow is in flight, you can whistle again to recall it. (Inspired by Yondu from Guardians of the Galaxy.)
Quivers
Magic Quiver: Right-click with a tool or weapon in your hand to store it; right-click while empty-handed to retrieve it. When firing a bow, arrows are consumed from the Magic Quiver first, deducting 5 durability from the stored item and applying its damage and enchantments (e.g., Sharpness). Now properly prevents the quiver from being mistaken for arrows when empty.
Toast's Quiver: Stores arrows and automatically cycles through them in order. Displays "Loaded: %1$s / %2$s".
Enchantments
Auto Fire: Allows bows and crossbows to automatically fire and reload by holding right-click.
Arrows
Diamond Arrow: 1.3× damage of a normal arrow.
Aqua Arrow: Flies in a straight line through water without being slowed down.
Echo Arrow: Creates a small soul explosion on impact that damages nearby creatures. Cannot be dodged by Endermen.
Amethyst Arrow: Applies Amethyst Infection on hit, dealing 5 true damage every 10 ticks for 2 seconds. Repeated hits increase the effect level and refresh the duration.
Binding Arrow: Applies Vine Bind on hit, heavily slowing the target.
Armor-Shred Arrow: Applies Broken Shield on hit, reducing the target's armor by a percentage.
[Cross-mod Integration]
Create
Cogwheel Bow: Fires two arrows at once. Hold to auto-fire.
Andesite Cogwheel Bow: An upgraded Cogwheel Bow with a higher fire rate via andesite alloy.
Brass Cogwheel Bow: A further upgrade to the Andesite Cogwheel Bow, with an even higher fire rate and increased damage.
BOMD
Blazing Bow: Summons a Nether Gauntlet while held. When drawing and firing, the gauntlet charges forward, dealing explosive damage.
Fruitful Bow: Continuously fires explosive spores while charging. Has a configurable chance to not consume arrows.
Soul Launcher: Does not slow you while charging. Converts normal arrows into Echo Arrows. All arrows ignore gravity and fly in a straight line.
The Aether
Slider Bow: On hit, marks the target. Subsequent arrows home in on the marked target, with boosted damage.
Gravitite Bow: Arrows set an anchor point on the nearest block or creature. Hit creatures are pulled toward the anchor, dealing collision damage that ignores armor and magic resistance.
Valkyrie Bow: Fires additional storm thunderballs that track your enemies.
Twilight Forest
Naga Slayer: On hit, launches a pursuit arrow toward the nearest enemy within range of the hit target. This effect can chain repeatedly.
Worm Killer (Enchantment): Naga Slayer-exclusive. Enables the pursuit effect to trigger on each separate hitbox of multi-hitbox mobs of the same type.
Fiery Bow: Applies "Fiery" on hit, increasing movement speed while continuously burning. At max stacks, all stacks detonate for massive burst damage.
Knight's Edge: Deals bonus damage proportional to the target's armor value on hit.
Legendary Monsters
Air Rune Bow: When fully charged, generates an electric explosion shockwave at the point of impact.
Molecular Recombiner: When fully charged, deals bonus damage equal to a percentage of the target's max health. Has a very low chance to strip all armor, and an extremely low chance to instantly kill the target and grant bonus drops.
Soul Echo: When hit, negates the damage and teleports you to a safe position within range.
Mowzie's Mobs
Breath of the Sun: Each fully charged hit summons one unsummoned Umtana follower. When all 6 are alive, they channel power back to you, increasing draw speed and damage.
Breath of the Icy Crystal: When fully charged, also fires an icy whirlwind that freezes water, applies slowness, and deals frost damage.
