About this project
What does Maid Logistics Network add?
Maid Logistics Network
Maid Logistics Network is a logistics and transportation mod built around maid workers.
It introduces an independent logistics gameplay system in which storage maids manage inventories, courier maids deliver supplies, production maids feed automated transport routes, and driver maids carry players between distant locations.
The mod uses Touhou Little Maid and Maid Storage Manager as its foundation, but its logistics network, routes, terminals, professions, transport transactions, production sites, and player transportation are implemented as a separate gameplay system.
What Can You Do?
With Maid Logistics Network, you can:
Connect warehouses located in different bases.
View published warehouse inventories from a remote terminal.
Request items without travelling back to the warehouse yourself.
Send courier maids to collect, transport, deposit, and return supplies.
Create automatic cargo routes between production sites and warehouses.
Let production maids unload collected items into managed containers.
Assign driver maids to transport players across long distances.
Track warehouse inspections, deliveries, blocked routes, and active maid tasks.
Keep logistics work running beyond the player's normal simulation distance.
Reduce repetitive chest checking, inventory sorting, and travel between bases.
The goal is to turn individually working maids into a coordinated workforce.
Network Warehouses
Warehouses can be registered and managed through the Maid Communication Terminal.
Each warehouse uses inventory information published by its storage maids. Players can search stored items, select a warehouse, request supplies, and ask its storage maids to refresh the inventory list.
Instead of manually returning to a base and opening containers one by one, the player creates a request and allows the maid logistics system to handle the remaining process.
The storage maid prepares the requested items, while a courier maid transports the request list and cargo between the warehouse and its destination.
Courier Deliveries
Courier is an independent maid profession provided by this mod.
Courier maids can:
Carry request lists to storage maids.
Collect requested items.
Deliver cargo to their owner.
Deliver items to configured destinations.
Return deposited items to a warehouse.
Wait and retry when an inventory is full.
Preserve exact item and NBT data during transport.
Continue interrupted transactions after temporary problems are resolved.
The transport method is selected according to the route.
Nearby destinations use normal maid pathfinding. Longer routes can use a Marisa Broom, an Ender Pocket, or a combination of both.
Missing equipment only blocks the route that requires it. It does not prevent the maid from becoming a courier or completing routes that use another transport method.
Automated Cargo Routes
Maid Logistics Network allows players to build persistent cargo routes between logistics nodes.
Routes can connect:
Production sites represented by Business Licenses.
Warehouses represented by Courier Mailboxes.
Different production and storage locations managed by the same terminal account.
Each route can define:
A source node.
A destination node.
A selected courier maid.
Multiple item types.
A target quantity for each item.
Its dispatch order.
Whether the route is currently enabled.
The system automatically reports why a route cannot continue, such as:
The source has no matching items.
The destination has no remaining space.
A node is no longer valid.
The courier is busy.
Required transport equipment is missing.
The route cannot currently use its selected transport method.
This allows players to build understandable logistics chains instead of relying on invisible or unexplained background transfers.
Production Sites
Business Licenses create managed production sites.
A production site can contain:
A custom name.
Item whitelist or blacklist rules.
Managed containers.
Bound production maids.
A marked takeoff and landing area.
Registration with a terminal account.
When a bound production maid's inventory begins to fill, she can automatically unload accepted items into the site's containers.
The site can then serve as the source or destination of an automated cargo route.
This is useful for farms, workshops, kitchens, resource collection areas, and other locations where maids regularly produce or collect items.
Maid Transport
Driver is another independent maid profession provided by this mod.
Players can select a starting point and destination from the Maid Communication Terminal. An available driver maid travels to a safe pickup point, waits for the requesting player, and flies toward the selected destination.
During the journey, the driver:
Controls the broom automatically.
Adjusts flight height according to terrain.
Searches for safe takeoff and landing areas.
Allows the player to take control when automatic landing is not possible.
Can follow the player after arrival.
Can return to a registered warehouse to wait for another trip.
This gives trained maids a role in both item logistics and player transportation.
Warehouse Maintenance
The mod expands long-term warehouse management with automatic inspection and cleanup tools.
Storage maids can periodically:
Discover containers in their work area.
Inspect accessible storage.
Refresh published inventory lists.
Clean designated miscellaneous storage.
Move items into matching filtered containers.
Return undeliverable items to their original source.
Distinguish items by complete NBT data when configured.
Players no longer need to manually reopen every chest simply to keep remote inventory information current.
Miscellaneous Storage Cleanup
A container can be marked as Miscellaneous Storage.
It acts as a controlled fallback for items that do not currently match another storage destination. During a cleanup task, the storage maid attempts to move those items into:
A compatible filtered container.
A regular container already holding the same type of item.
The maid does not place unmatched items into arbitrary empty containers.
Items without a valid destination remain in their original miscellaneous container, while interrupted transfers retain their exact item records and can be retried safely.
Task and Status Feedback
Maid Logistics Network adds clearer task feedback to maid interfaces and progress displays.
Players can see whether a maid is:
Inspecting a warehouse.
Discovering containers.
Cleaning miscellaneous storage.
Refreshing an inventory list.
Carrying a request.
Delivering cargo.
Running an automated logistics route.
Waiting for inventory space.
Travelling to a destination.
Blocked by pathfinding or missing equipment.
Resting, fighting, sleeping, or standing by.
A Task Bell can also be bound to a storage maid, allowing the player to call her to a nearby safe location.
These features reduce situations where the player must guess whether a maid is working correctly or has become blocked.
Integration Improvements
The mod also improves how its required mods work together during logistics tasks.
These improvements include:
Stable remote maid identification.
Remote interactions that do not depend on the client currently rendering the maid.
Reliable Ender Pocket operations across long distances.
Persistent maid, warehouse, mailbox, route, and transaction records.
Safer cargo handling when inventories become full.
Continued updates when logistics entities leave normal simulation distance.
Clearer task states and failure reasons.
More consistent item handoff between storage maids and courier maids.
Better recovery after temporary pathfinding, loading, or equipment problems.
These changes support the logistics gameplay provided by Maid Logistics Network. They do not replace or modify the original dependency JAR files.
Required Dependencies
Maid Logistics Network currently requires:
