PlunderEngine
The backbone dependency for more shader capability and data bus for various new mods specifically designed to increase shader immersion.
Quick answer
Which PlunderEngine release should I use?
plunderengine-0.1.15.jar targets 26.1.2 with Fabric. The project page does not say whether this file belongs on the client, dedicated server, or both. All 2 required mods have matching files.
Where it goes
Is PlunderEngine required on the client, server, or both?
The project page does not say whether this file belongs on the client, dedicated server, or both.
The source does not explicitly classify this release as client-only or server-only.
What else does plunderengine-0.1.15.jar need?
plunderengine-0.1.15.jar. Change the file and its required mods may change too.
Install Iris Shaders, Sodium first. We found matching files for this game-version and loader setup.
We only count dependency files that match this setup. A file for another loader does not fill the gap.

About this project
What does PlunderEngine add?
PlunderEngine (PE)
The core any of the Link family mods plug into.
Click here for shader integration instructions.
On its own this does nothing. PlunderEngine is a dependecy. WindLink is the first mod within the family.
In a Nutshell
Consolidated Settings. All Link mod settings show up under this mods Iris settings tab.
Export/Import settings. config/plunderlink.json. One file per mod.
A live status readout. /plunderengine status shows you important dev info regarding the current state of each Link mod. It tells you the current information that Link mods are surfacing to your shader. This is a helpful debug tool for shader developers to find out if the mod or their shader is broken.
The Link
PlunderEngine was built as data bus that unifies all currently published and indevelopment Link mods.
PE unifies all of the data that the mods extract and create and create one singular point of failure and interface between the mods and Iris. Currently I use PE to publish the live world and terrain data as MCWIND channels that cover
- wind and gusts
- terrain flow
- an accurate clock
- canopy size
- ground heigh and sparsity
- heat
- water
- seasons
- block light color
- solid block volume
…with many more features to come with the new Links under development.
PE enables shipping of one marker file so any shaderpack can adopt it with ease without having to make changes to its tree from integration and updates.
Whichever Links you have installed decided what channel carries the data. Any that aren't installed are reported absent.
Developers click here for information regarding integrating your shader packs with the Link family.

Requirements
Minecraft 1.26.1 on Fabric. Fabric API. Java 25. Iris and Sodium optional: without them the mods still run, they just have nothing to hand a shader.
Thank you…
I'm especially appreciative of SpacEagle17 the creator of the awesome Euphoria Patches for being extremely helping throughout the development and testing of this mod!
