Better Revive X Trinkets

Better Revive X Trinkets is a small compatibility add-on that adds Trinkets support to Better Revive.

Normally, Better Revive handles the player's regular inventory when a grave is created. With this add-on installed, items equipped in Trinkets slots are handled as well.

When a player dies and Better Revive creates a grave, the add-on saves all equipped Trinkets items together with the slot they came from. This includes the slot group, slot name, position and the complete item data.

After the grave is recovered, the items are placed back into their original Trinkets slots automatically.

Safe Item Handling

I wanted the add-on to handle Trinkets inventories without introducing another possible source of lost or duplicated items, so the integration uses Better Revive's transactional add-on system.

Before anything is removed from the player, a complete snapshot of the Trinkets inventory is created and checked.

If something changes during the process or the operation cannot be completed safely, the transaction is cancelled and rolled back.

The add-on also does not overwrite occupied or incompatible Trinkets slots when restoring items.

If an item cannot be returned to its original slot, the grave stays available instead of simply deleting or replacing something. This gives the player a chance to clear the conflicting slot and recover the grave again.

A fallback copy of the stored items is also kept inside the grave data. This means the items can still remain recoverable even if the add-on is removed or unavailable later.
