About this project
What does TNT Trails add?
TNTtrails
Figure out where your TNT shots are actually going!
TNTtrails is a lightweight, client-side Fabric mod that draws a fading, color-graded trail behind every primed TNT entity — so you can finally see the exact arc your shot flew instead of guessing. Each explosion is also marked in-world for a few seconds afterward, giving you an instant visual record of where things landed.
Whether you're dialing in a cannon design, debugging a TNT duper, or just trying to figure out why your redstone contraption keeps missing its mark, TNTtrails gives you the flight data at a glance — no math, no third-party trackers, no guesswork.
✨ Features
- 🔴🟠 Smoothed, color-graded trails (red → orange) tracing each TNT entity's flight path
- 💥 Short-lived cuboid highlights marking every explosion location
- ⏱️ Trails automatically fade and expire after ~15 seconds — no clutter buildup
- 🖥️ Purely client-side — no server-side installation needed, safe to use on any server that allows client mods

⚙️ How It Works
TNTtrails tracks every TNT entity's position each tick, keeping a short history that's pruned after 15 seconds. On render, it draws smoothed segments between recorded positions, colored by trail freshness, plus a translucent marker at each detonation point.
