What does BlackGrid Translator add?

BlackGrid Translator

BlackGrid Translator is a client-side Minecraft chat translation mod designed to help players who speak different languages communicate on multiplayer servers.

The mod supports both incoming and outgoing translation while preserving the original server messages. Interactive chat components—such as teleport-request Accept and Deny buttons—remain intact and clickable.

Command safety

Most slash commands bypass translation and are sent unchanged.

For /msg, /tell, and /w, BlackGrid Translator preserves the command and recipient while translating only the private-message body.

/msg Player 谢谢你 can be sent as /msg Player Thank you.

Interactive messages

BlackGrid Translator never replaces the original incoming server message. Translations appear on a separate line, preserving colors, hover information, and click actions such as Accept and Deny.

Configuration

The main configuration screen contains:

Fabric users should install Mod Menu to access the configuration screen conveniently.

Privacy

  3. Place the BlackGrid Translator JAR in the instance's mods folder.
  4. Start Minecraft and configure the mod from the Mods screen.
