About this project
What does Cherry Blossom Sword add?
Last Blossom is a powerful blade covered in deadly cherry blossom petals.
MECHANICS:
- Hitting mobs builds Windswept stacks. Each stack grants a 5% attack speed increase. Each stack has a decay time of 10 seconds. When the timer runs out a single stack is lost. For every hit, the attacked mob will also built malicious Graceful Death stacks.
- Pressing X will cause the deadly petals inside the enemy to explode outward and damage everything in a sphere around the mob. The explosion size depends on how many stacks of Graceful Death the mob has accumulated up to that point.
- Pressing K will shoot Deadly Gale, given that the wielder has Windswept stacks. All Windswept stacks will be consumed. On impact with anything, Deadly Gale will explode the same way detonating Graceful Death stacks does. If the explosion hits a mob every stack used to shoot Deadly Gale will be refunded. If multiple mobs are hit, one more stack of Windswept will be refunded per mob hit.
- Double-pressing C will make the wielder dash in the direction they are moving and grant speed III for 6 seconds. Each dash recharges in 5 seconds. By default, the wielder has 3 dash charges available.
- Holding L while having max Windswept stacks will activate Blossom Hurricane. A hurricane made of blossom petals will start forming around the player and hurdles around anything in its path. The more mobs get picked up, the larger it grows. All mobs affected are marked with max Graceful Death stacks. These stacks will only start decaying when L is released. When L is released, all Windswept stacks are consumed and on detonation of Graceful Death, no stacks are refunded.
ONSLAUGHT:
Holding U will begin Onslaught. The Nether wants its power of the Nether Star back. Die during Onslaught and you'll lose your weapon's abilities. Survive all 10 waves and you'll be rewarded with valuable prizes. HOW IT WORKS:
Once Onslaught is active, the first wave will start. After every wave the player gets the chance to exit the area and secure the loot rewarded for the waves completed. If the player dies during a wave, the legendary weapon, and any other legendary weapons in their inventory, will lose their abilities. Prizes are awarded at extraction or after completing the final wave in a shulker box at the center of the Onslaught area.
To restore the legendary weapon's abilities, one most return to the nether and kill piglin brutes until a Forged Star is dropped. This item can be used in an anvil along with a legendary weapon to restore its abilities. The Forged Star can only drop if a piglin brute is killed while the broken legendary weapon is in the player's inventory.
If you somehow get softlocked use /onslaught end player name_of_player
Everything is configurable. More detailed config description coming soon.
This mod is explicitly compatible with Better Combat.
