Heraldics is a medieval themed mod made for the Echoes of the Past 2026 mod jam. It adds banner tabards, working portcullises and a handful of masonry blocks.
Requires Moonlight Library.
⚔️ Features ⚔️
Tabards
- Tabard: chest armor that shows the pattern and base color of the banner it was made with
- Horse Tabard: the same, worn by horses
- Chainmail Horse Armor: the horse armor tier vanilla is missing, and the base for the horse tabard
Portcullis
- Portcullis and Chiseled Portcullis: grate blocks, placed along any axis
- Can be lowered and reised by shift clicking
- Connected grate moves as one piece, up to 64 blocks
- Grate blocks stick to each other, so a piston moves all of them
- With Supplementaries installed, the grate is moved by a rope pulley instead of by hand
Masonry
- An assortment of medieval bricks. Currently includes:
- Flagstone Bricks
- Sandstone Mosaic
- Wrought Iron Fence and Wrought Iron Railing
