Slashblade:Extinction Day

Currently, there are only two original Slash Blades in this mod now. Since I’m still learning as I develop, feel free to get in touch—if there’s interest, I may create more blades in the future.

About this project

What does Slashblade:Extinction Day add?

Extinction Day (灭却之日)

A SlashBlade: Resharped addon mod · Minecraft 1.21.1 NeoForge

Still in development. Work-in-progress logs are mostly kept on Bilibili; downloads will come once everything is solid.

Some content is by nature referenced from the SlashBlade-series mods added by the Curtain Call Modpack — no code was read, and each borrowed element differs from its source counterpart in its own way.

The original version was made on the Autoforge platform, then built further with DeepSeek — the author can't code.

Included content:

The mod's currently confirmed design inspirations are Fantasy Blade and Solomon (同调造物·所罗门). Honestly, just getting DeepSeek to tell apart Slash Effects, Summoned Swords, and Sword Beams took a while…

  • SE [Swallow Return] was originally designed to be like Fantasy Blade (Yakumo Blade)'s SE [The Higher Slash] (Fever Mode), but the actual implementation turned out different, so the design was changed.

  • SE [Super Burst Drive] is modeled after Solomon's SE [An Untraceable Hope], with a different actual damage formula. Its name comes from the Curtain Call Modpack (落幕曲, "Closing Song") on mcmod.cn.

  • SA [Spatial Slash] is similar in nature to Solomon's SA [Heavenly Knight Swordsmanship], but with slower slashes, only 10 slashes, and one-directional rotation.

SEs:

  • [Swallow Return]: When a Summoned Sword, Sword Beam, or Slash Effect hits, it triggers two extra slash-like follow-up strikes. It can trigger enchantments and other SEs. Activation condition: Refine > 30.

  • [Super Burst Drive]: Sword Beams can be fired on both right-click attacks and left-click empty swings. Its damage increase also requires the Power enchantment. Activation condition: Kill count > 50.

(The activation conditions are not the same as the source mods; check them in JEI.)

SAs:

  • [Spatial Slash]: Fires a total of 10 slashes forward. DPS is lower than Combo B.

Original content:

SEs:

  • [Soul Sever]: Attacks apply the Soul Sever effect; reapplying it raises the effect level. It causes armor-piercing vulnerability, and a higher Unbreaking enchantment level means higher damage. (It's not a big deal, forget about it.)

SAs:

  • [Dismantle: Infinity]: Performs multiple slashes around the body. It's not a faithful recreation — the number of slashes isn't that few. (English name: Dismantle Infinity; effect: a ring of slashes around the body; inspired by JJK Epilogue, where Itadori Yuji hand-crafts a Limitless-like defense with [Cleave] slashes.)

  • [Fleeting Myriad Blades]: Performs three consecutive waves of 4 slashes each, 12 slashes in total; each wave scatters Sword Beams and Summoned Swords forward in a fan.

  • [Life-Severing Slash]: First releases Void Slash, then fires multiple Sword Beams during the process. You can use the parent mod's various interrupt options to cancel this large recovery delay. Even now it still feels a bit clunky.

Adds two SlashBlades: Sky Barrier: Underlight and Miedao Duan: Prototype. The former is a crafting material for the latter. Sky Barrier: Underlight requires the Koseki as a material; Miedao Duan: Prototype requires Sky Barrier: Underlight plus six Rodai blades of different crafting materials, each at Refine 20.
