resourcebamboo
Resource Bamboo lets you grow bamboo into any material through scalable, multi-lane processing factories—extensible with data packs and other mods.
Quick answer
Which resourcebamboo release should I use?
resourcebamboo-1.0.1.jar targets 1.21.1 with NeoForge. The project page does not say whether this file belongs on the client, dedicated server, or both. No extra mods listed for this file.
Where it goes
Is resourcebamboo required on the client, server, or both?
The project page does not say whether this file belongs on the client, dedicated server, or both.
The source does not explicitly classify this release as client-only or server-only.
What else does resourcebamboo-1.0.1.jar need?
resourcebamboo-1.0.1.jar. Change the file and its required mods may change too.
This file does not list any required mods. Do not add a library just because a different file uses it.
22 extra mods were pulled in by other dependencies. Indented rows show who needs each one. We only count dependency files that match this setup. A file for another loader does not fill the gap.

About this project
What does resourcebamboo add?
Resource Bamboo
Turn renewable bamboo into any material — with a tiered factory you can extend yourself.
Resource Bamboo reimagines bamboo as a real, multi-stage plant and adds a processing pipeline that converts it into the resources you actually need. Start with vanilla-style bamboo, breed it into 16 built-in resource types, and scale up through four generations of processing machines — all automatable with the mod's own resource pipes or any standard item transport (hoppers, ME networks, pipes).
Highlights
- Real bamboo farming — multi-segment growth that thickens before it grows tall, bone-meal acceleration, light and height rules straight from vanilla bamboo.
- 16 built-in resource bamboos — Copper, Iron, Gold, Redstone, Lapis Lazuli, Amethyst, Diamond, Emerald, Ender Pearl, Coal, Quartz, Glowstone, Prismarine, Blaze Rod, Ancient Debris, and Netherite.
- Four generations of processors that get dramatically faster as you climb the tiers:
Machine Lanes Throughput Basic 3 3 items / 20 ticks Advanced 5 5 items / 20 ticks Elite 7 7 items / 20 ticks Ultimate 14 64 items / 20 ticks (14 parallel lanes)
- Automation built in — resource pipes with a wrench to set extract / disconnect sides, plus a standard
IItemHandlercapability so hoppers, Mekanism, and AE2 can pull straight from the machines.
- Data-pack extensibility — add any new resource with one registry JSON + one recipe. No compiling. The generic bamboo is colored at runtime, so you don't even have to draw a texture.
- Mod integration out of the box — Mekanism (9 materials) and AE2 (5 materials) are unlocked automatically, gated behind
mod_loadedconditions. There is no hard dependency — the mod runs perfectly fine on its own.
- Works with the Cloche and standard farming setups
