About this project

What does Relics & Regalia add?

Relics & Regalia

Legendary equipment for the journeys, workshops, wild places, and battles of Minecraft. Relics & Regalia adds 12 Curios relics and four complete armor sets to Minecraft Java 1.21.1. Every relic has a distinct utility, every armor piece has a power, and each full set unlocks a signature ability.

Discover the relics

Relic What it does
Frostwake Anklets Freeze source water into a temporary path and land safely on ice.
Cloudcatcher Cape Crouch while falling to slow your descent.
Springheel Spurs Release and press jump again in midair for a second jump.
Harvestbound Bracelet Replant mature crops with available seeds and encourage nearby growth.
Greenroot Charm Replant felled trees with carried saplings and encourage sapling growth.
Deepstone Monocle Mine an ore to briefly reveal nearby blocks of the same type.
Tidehook Ring Improve fishing and send catches to your inventory.
Leyline Pendant Spend less mana when casting with Ars Nouveau or Iron's Spellbooks.
Wildheart Brooch Gather animals and draw hostile mobs targeting them toward you.
Emberward Amulet Ignore fire damage, though lava remains dangerous.
Wayfinder's Wristband Leave a fading trail that nearby players can follow.
Deepwater Pearl Recover a short emergency breath when you run out of air underwater.

Relics work when equipped in their matching Curios slots. Some share a slot, so choose the combination that suits your trip.

Choose your regalia

  • Wildlife Keeper: Protect companions, move faster while sneaking, and breed eligible animals with an empty hand. The full set grants companion buffs and Nature's Wrath when a nearby owned animal dies.
  • Pathfinder: Navigate toward your bed, withstand environmental hazards, sprint faster, and step over obstacles. The full set adds biome searching and slower hunger drain.
  • Master Mechanic: Work with Create's goggles, tools, belts, and machines. The full set grants Haste II and pulls nearby items into pickup range. Create is required for this set's recipes and powers.
  • Champion: Gain extra health, combat bonuses, and protection from projectiles. The full set deals more damage to hostile mobs and can trigger Last Stand when lethal damage occurs and the ability is ready. A held Totem of Undying activates first.

Press K to open the armor abilities menu for available toggles, navigation, and Last Stand status. Hold Shift over armor tooltips to read full-set bonuses.

Make it fit your world

Equipment can be crafted, found as rare chest loot, or reserved for external progression rewards. The default is crafting plus a 0.25% chance for one extra equipment item per eligible chest loot-table roll. Pack makers can choose crafting-only, loot-only, or progression-only acquisition.

Version 0.2.1 also adds 87 server-controlled power settings. Enable or disable individual powers and tune values such as jump strength, mana discount, growth range, and cooldowns. The shipped settings preserve the default behaviors shown above; tooltips describe those defaults.

Requirements and compatibility

  • Minecraft Java: 1.21.1
  • Mod loader: NeoForge 21.1.250 or a compatible newer 21.1.x version
  • Required mod: Curios API 9.5.1+1.21.1 or a compatible newer version
  • Optional integrations: Create 6.0.10+, Ars Nouveau, and Iron's Spellbooks

Install Relics & Regalia and Curios on both the server and each client. Use matching Relics & Regalia 0.2.1 builds in multiplayer. The Leyline Pendant needs at least one supported magic mod to reduce spell costs; the rest of the mod can load without either magic mod.

Upgrading from 0.1.0? Back up your world first. The eight older relic IDs were replaced in 0.2.x, and there is no automatic item migration.
