About this project
What does World Calendar add?
World Calendar
World Calendar is a simplistic and lightweight calendar and clock mod for Minecraft Forge 1.20.1.
Set any starting date and let it progress naturally alongside your world. World Calendar maintains its own date independently of Minecraft’s day counter, so changing or resetting the vanilla time will never reset your calendar.
Features
- Persistent server-wide calendar
- Compact date and clock HUD
- Correct date rollover at midnight
- Gregorian calendar with leap-year support
- Optional day-of-week display
- 12-hour or 24-hour clock
- Custom date formats
- Custom month and era names
- Default, seasonal, or custom HEX date colours
- Recurring yearly holidays
- One-time calendar events
- Adjustable calendar days per Minecraft day
- Optional progression pause while the server is empty
- Command-block-friendly date queries
- Calendar backup and restore commands
- Configurable HUD position, scale, padding, and visibility
Shared calendar settings are controlled by server operators, while each player can independently configure the position and size of their HUD.
Basic Commands
/date set <day> <month> <year>/date plus <days>/date minus <days>/date freeze/date unfreeze/date status/date config/date holiday/date event/date backup/date get
All calendar commands require operator permission.
Default Settings
World Calendar uses real-world English month names, a 24-hour clock, one calendar day per Minecraft day, and the original beige-yellow date colour by default.
Holidays are enabled, but none are included automatically. Optional customization features remain disabled until enabled by a server operator.
