Carry & Quarry

Pack your finds, rig a boat, and bring a quarry's worth of materials home. Carry & Quarry connects transport, hands-on harvesting, building materials, and unusual chemistry to familiar Minecraft tools and workstations.

Carry it home

Craft a Bindle from a bundle, lead, and stick. It preserves the bundle's color and contents, provides nine storage slots, and collects nearby dropped items while held in your offhand. Dye it to match your kit, inspect its contents in the tooltip, or reinforce its straps with a leatherworker to remove its full-load slowdown. Deliver supplies into compatible containers, furnaces, brewing stands, minecarts, boats, and pack animals.

Attach a patterned banner sail to a boat, then fit a chest or barrel for cargo. Barrel holds collect floating items; dockside hoppers can transfer cargo. Press your inventory key while riding to open the attached hold. Sail with an exploration compass, catch a dolphin's draft, and recover upgrades when you change your plans. Overland, link up to three pack animals into a caravan. Rope ladders hang from a top anchor, extend downwards, roll back up, and can deploy from dispensers.

Work the landscape

Seven chisel tiers mark stone or deepslate for a face-directed 3×3 fracture. Brush gravel, dirt, mud, or dense clay through a Sediment Sieve without opening a menu. Explore abandoned quarries for concentrated Limestone reservoirs and a family of building shapes. Rare village sculptures provide another encounter, with Cracked Limestone Bricks found only naturally in damaged abandoned sculptures, but can still make them yourselves by smelting limestone bricks.

Underwater Loose Agate, Salt Caves, cliff-edge landslides, waterfall erosion, and temporary underground map echoes give familiar places new details to investigate.

Experiment with materials

Process limestone, steel, and slag through crafting and cauldrons. Seal stainless steel, scrape and wash steel scraps, finish petrified steel, or cast and dye hardened concrete. Wet Slag is sticky; solid slag is squishy, and Slimey Sprinter boots change how you travel across it. Copper treatments accelerate weathering, while fertilizer supports crops and growing plants.

Shulkers camouflage their shells against their surroundings. Shavings craft a four-piece camouflage suit, which can take on block textures at their original pixel scale. This disguise is cosmetic: it does not grant combat armor or invisibility to mobs. Ancient City Sculk Jaws catch sneaking players, alert nearby sculk, and swallow dropped items unless an unlocked hopper underneath can receive them.

Requirements

Minecraft Java 26.3 · Java 25 · Fabric Loader 0.19.5 or newer · Fabric API 0.160.5+26.3. Install the mod and Fabric API on both the client and server. This is one mod; no separate gameplay add-ons are required. World-generation features need newly generated chunks. Back up existing worlds before installing.

Project code and original assets use the MIT license. Adapted artwork includes Pseja's Chisel, Tech Reborn, Minecraft-derived materials, and historical Sculk Jaw recreations. Third-party materials retain their original rights; bundled notices provide their attribution and license details.
