IDEAS

IDEAS brings building families, mushroom processing, custom environments, redstone components, and practical survival tools into one Fabric mod.

What it adds

• Building options including slabs, stairs, vertical slabs, doors, trapdoors, and architectural pieces.
• Expanded woodwork, storage, ladders, bookshelves, and woodcutting.
• Custom mushroom models, dried mushroom items, powders, infusions, lighting, and brewing content.
• Custom biomes, trees, and environments, including the Chromatic Realm, Aurora, and Somnara.
• Redstone logic, thresholds, delays, and workshop components.
• Inventory, planting, harvesting, navigation, and building conveniences.

Required game version

This beta targets Minecraft 26.3-snapshot-6, Fabric Loader 0.19.3 or later, and Java 25 or later. It is not for stable Minecraft 26.3, 26.2, Forge, or NeoForge.

Install compatible versions of Fabric API (0.156.1+26.3 or later) and Mo Glass separately. MoreLadders, More Dyes 0.1.0, Trailcraft, Glassworks, and Farmhand are nested in the consolidated IDEAS download. Do not install duplicate standalone copies alongside it.

The corrected beta package reports version 0.0.1.4.8-snapshot6-workshop-merged.2. It removes the embedded source archive that caused the previous uploads to be rejected. The source is kept separately, not inside the game JAR.

Included workshop modules

• Trailcraft: craftable per-item waypoint markers for returning to discovered places, without teleportation.
• Glassworks: intact glass recovery using the glass cutter, plus lossy pane recycling through the pane press.
• Farmhand: row planting that consumes real planting items from the offhand.

The original IDEAS Chromatic Dye Basin and RGB color system are distinct from the separately developed More Dyes mod. This beta includes the user-provided More Dyes build as its own nested Fabric mod.

Beta status

Earlier development checks included an isolated dedicated-server run, redstone timing checks, fresh-world generation, and a client visual review. This newly packaged beta has not received a new in-game launch test. Back up existing worlds before using it. Long-session performance and comprehensive save/restart testing are not complete.

Credits and component licenses

Original IDEAS work includes contributed Earthstar and dried Earthstar artwork, along with original carved-wood artwork. No private contributor names are published here.

IDEAS includes or adapts components from MoreLadders by nieboczek; More Barrel Variants, More Chiseled Bookshelf Variants, More Bookshelf Variants, and More Chest Variants by their respective contributors including pnk2u and LieOnLion; More Block Styles by StarN1ght and ZanderNotch; and Nemo's Woodcutter by NemoNotFound. The separately developed More Dyes build was supplied by this project's owner and is credited to More Dyes contributors under its MIT license. The Chromatic Dye Basin is original IDEAS code, not a port of another author's More Dyes mod.

These components retain their respective license terms and attribution; this distribution is not CC0-only. Fabric API and Mo Glass remain separate dependencies.
