About this project

What does Intermediate: Definitive Edition add?

Hello, it is me, back from the dead.

I decided to revamp my Intermediate mod as a recycled concept for 1.7.10

[ALL REQUIRED DEPENDENCIES MUST BE INSTALLED, OTHERWISE THE MOD WON'T WORK]

[PLEASE BE AWARE THIS IS NOT THE FINISHED PRODUCT, THERE WILL BE UPDATES]

(exciting! :3 )

This mod adds one liminal dimension (so far)
And how you get there is by a portal, made of cables...

This recipe will give you a Bundle of Cables and with this you make...

A Cable Block! Make the shape of a Nether portal with this. And the final step is...

The Igniter! Well, it is called the Plug.

Right click the igniter in the middle and you have an active portal, when coming to contact with the dimension at first you are met with the lobby room. Any plugs, coal, redstone or cables and cable blocks are stripped on dimension entry in survival. This is because you, the player, are tasked with a challenge.

Find a kitchen room!

Search the kitchen drawers to find a Plug, memorise your way back and Ignite the portal frame in the lobby to escape!

No room generates the same, all rooms are different in structure, size and palettes.

But be aware, you have something stalking you in this place...

You can check the gallery for more of an insight as to what you're getting yourself into.
My previous intermediate had loads of dependencies, but this mod is something I have tinkered as much as possible to have only three dependencies (and one highly suggested resourcepack)

As you can see in the gallery, RPLE is used, and to get the same look as the gallery promotional art I highly suggest using RPLE's "Vanilla lamps" Resourcepack!

You don't have to, but the default look for the lamps are blank neon lamps that look (in my opinion) not as nice.

The mod "Gristle" which is a dependency, has a config so you can control the spawn weight of the mob! And if you do not have Gristle installed, no Gristle (or anything of the matter) will spawn in the dimension. Your choice completely.

Credit goes to Aphex Twin for "Stone in Focus" dimension music.

Upcoming features roadmap: *Trampoline park biome! (cluster) *Library rooms
*More sub-dimensions (glitch sky suburbs, pink cloud houses etc)
*More roomgen features (furniture)
*Interior windows as a roomgen feature (probably won't happen)
