About this project
What does create-industria-compat add?
An independent compatibility add-on for Minecraft 1.21.1 / NeoForge.
Restores Simple Clouds / Better Simple Clouds rendering alongside Sable/Veil, preserving transparency.
Restores the atmospheric 2D cloud layer when using Atmospherics.
Adds real Minecraft lightning strikes at exposed vanilla lightning rods during local Simple Clouds thunderstorms.
Supports lightning-dependent mechanics such as Super Experience.
Adds local-thunderstorm support for Scorched Guns Lightning Batteries, retaining their powered-rod requirement.
**Client requirements:** Simple Clouds 0.7.3+1.21.1, Better Simple Clouds 1.2.3, Sable 2.0.6.
**Optional:** Atmospherics 2.6.5 and Scorched Guns 1.5. Distant Horizons is not required.
**Server:** install this patch with Simple Clouds to enable the lightning features.
Install the original dependency mods separately and remove older copies of this patch.
Configure config/industria-lightning-rods.properties. Default: 64-block player search
radius and a mean interval of two minutes per dimension when eligible rods exist.
Real strikes have normal gameplay effects. Multiple players do not multiply the chance.
Battery setup still requires a powered rod/connector directly above, within 1–5 blocks.
Original add-on code: MIT. Bundled modified shaders retain MIT / PolyForm Perimeter 1.0.1
