About this project

What does Quick TP: Memories add?

Quick TP: Memories

Press Shift + F to open a teleport menu. Go back to spawn, ask a friend for a teleport, or travel to places you saved — all from one screen.

Saved places are stored inside an item, the Memory of Place. Upgrade it to hold more places, or hand it to a friend so they can use your saved places too.

Features

Teleport Menu (Shift + F)

  • Go to Spawn — your bed or respawn anchor, or the world spawn if you don't have one
  • Go to Death Point — needs the Memory of Death upgrade
  • Teleport Requests — click a player's name; they accept or deny from chat (requests expire after 60 seconds)
  • Saved Places — save, rename, delete and travel, across dimensions

Warmup & Cooldown

  • Stand still for a few seconds before you teleport. Moving or taking damage cancels it.
  • Cooldown between teleports
  • Both are adjustable by server admins

Upgrades

Equip up to 5 upgrades in the Shift + F menu (one of each kind):

Upgrade Effect
Memory of Place Stores your saved places (1 → 8 slots)
Memory of Death Teleport to where you last died
Guard Blocks attacks while you wait to teleport (1 → 8 hits)
Mover Lets you move while you wait (1.5 → 8.5 blocks)
Accelerator Shorter wait (−1 sec → instant)

Equipped upgrades stay with you when you die.

Upgrade Tiers

Upgrade at the Teleport Workbench: Copper → Iron → Gold → Lapis → Diamond → Emerald → Netherite

The Memory of Place has one more tier after Netherite: Preservation. A preserved Memory is never dropped on death, even when it is only in your inventory.

New Materials

  • Shard of Death — sometimes dropped by mobs you kill. Stronger mobs drop it more often (max health × 0.05 %).
  • Shard of Place — rarely found in any loot chest (2.5%).

Requirements

  • Minecraft 1.21.1
  • NeoForge 21.1.264 or newer
  • Install on both the client and the server

Server Settings

File: world/serverconfig/quicktp-server.toml

  • cooldownSeconds (default 10)
  • warmupSeconds (default 3)
  • cancelOnDamage (default true)
  • opsBypass (default false)
  • deathShardPercentPerHealth (default 0.05)
  • placeShardChance (default 0.025)

Admin commands: /qtp settings, /qtp cooldown <seconds>, /qtp warmup <seconds>

The in-game text is currently Korean only. An English translation is planned.
