About this project

What does Akashic Spellbook add?

Inspired by Akashic Tome.

This mod introduces an Akashic Spellbook (crafted with nine other base Iron's Spellbooks) that can contain up to nine other spellbooks inside it. It gives you +500 MP and +10% Spell Power once equipped, but it also inherits all stats of the currently 'active' spellbook.

Swap between stored spellbooks on-the-fly using the scroll wheel when the radial menu is open or keybind (not bound by default). If on a multi-page spellbook like the Archivist's Grimoire, shift + scroll will skip its pages and select the next spellbook.

The Akashic Spellbook's inventory is like an Ender Chest, so any Akashic Spellbook you open will share the same inventory per player. Even if you lose the item, your spellbooks are safe.

Change the Akashic Spellbook's appearance by placing it into an Arcane Anvil with another Spellbook (the Spellbook is NOT CONSUMED). Reset its appearance using a regular unenchanted Minecraft book.

Also supports spellbooks from Apprentice's Codex - yes, even the Archivist's Grimoire (which can hold up to 54 spells per book... letting the Akashic Codex hold a max total of 486 spells), but any regular spellbook should work by default. If it doesn't, create an issue and I'll take a look at it.
