About this project
What does Depth : Hidden World (Discontinued) add?
Depth adds a lot items, armors, mechanics about the abyss and the pressure. This mod was created in 3 days during a modding duel organized by FuzeIII a French youtubeur of 3 million subscribers. But before moving on to the presentation of additions, it is important to put yourself in the context of the mod... A part of the deep ocean has melted, buried because of an unknown force bound to the blocks of structures. In ancient times, two species of Guardian lived together, the Amber Guardians and those you already know. The reflection of the sun on the amber crystals radiated the seas, this energy remained impregnated inside the amber. When this part of the ocean fell, many creatures were swept into the depths, including the Creepers and Turtles, and they got used to their new environment by changing their way of life and appearance. Nevertheless, a pacerelle between the buried world and ours still exists somewhere, but where? Let’s hope that one day a player can find it...

Amber and Platinum Ores are generated in all ocean-type biomes

The Amber Tools gives an effect of hunger to the enemies and cooks the blocks we break, these tools have more durability than the netherite but mine very slowly

Platinum Tools are between iron and diamond, they give a Deep Impact effect to the enemies, this effect does more damage to the fish/mob that lives in the water

In the world you can find on the beach deserted fisherman’s huts and underground ancient temples of Guardian with a portal in the center of the structure, to light the portal just make a right click with a heart of the sea

The Dimensions is constitued only of water, volcanoes and amber crystals

This dimension welcomes a whole new biodiversity, two new creatures can appear, the Deeper (an aquatic creeper that sticks the player to him, and once dead, 50% explode) and the Sunken (A hollow pet crab which detects creepers within a radius of 16 blocks, it trembles when it senses one, it can be used as a portable storage)

The new mechanism added by the mod is pressure, as soon as the player is below 20 blocks of the water surface, the player starts to take damage

To survive under all this water the player needs a suitable suit of armor that resists pressure, such as a Netherite dive suit but this suit of armor is heavy and not very suitable for swimming (it lowers the player’s vertical speed) there is its Platinum variant which is lighter and suitable for underwater movement.

To breathe underwater, he can use his dive suit, but this suit needs fuel, compressed air. To fill the plastron, you have to right click on an air compressor, this block needs to be adjacent to an air block to operate

To resist pressure, they can also use a submarine that is not affected by the sea currents (bubble column) and that will allow them to navigate under the waters without potions or wooden door.

The Dimension Boss is the Amber Guardian, a neutral guardian of the depths in the Depth Dungeon, very rare. The player must summon it thanks to the altar present in the center of the dungeon with a nether star. This boss has 3 phase, the "Neutral" phase where he attacks the player in a classic way (30 of damage is not nothing), the 2nd phase is his "Attractive" phase (from 200 pv) when the player hits him, the power of these crystals draws the player towards him, in his 3rd and last phase (from 100 pv) he projects crystal projectiles around him, if the player to the misfortune of being hit, the weapon he has in hand will receive damage of high durability. He loots the "Mirror of Profusion" a rather fun item that allows to duplicate the item in second hand
