BlemmEssentials

BlemmEssentials is an all-in-one essentials plugin and mod for Minecraft servers. It brings economy, teleportation, homes, warps, a server shop, item selling, and a player auction house together in one lightweight project.

Supported platforms: Paper/purpur, Spigot/bukkit, Fabric, Forge, and NeoForge.

BlemmEssentials is designed to work without requiring a collection of separate economy and essentials plugins. Features and integrations can vary between platforms because Bukkit plugins and Minecraft mods use different APIs.

Features

  • Economy — Player balances, payments, and administrator balance management.
  • Teleportation — Teleport requests (TPA and TPA Here), request acceptance and denial, and random teleport.
  • Player homes — Multiple named homes per player, with configurable home limits.
  • Server warps — Shared warps that administrators can create and manage.
  • Friends system — Add, remove, and list friends, with optional home visits.
  • Server shop — Buy and sell configured items at fixed prices.
  • Quick sell — Sell the item in your hand or all supported items.
  • Auction house — List items for sale, purchase listings, and cancel your own listings.
  • Compass menu — A right-click compass menu for quick access to available features.
  • Administrator tools — Manage balances, give the essentials compass, manage administrator tags, and reload configuration.
  • Cross-platform development — Dedicated implementations for Bukkit-based servers and Fabric, Forge, and NeoForge mod loaders.
  • Discord webhook support — Send configured server notifications through Discord webhooks on supported platforms.
  • Bedrock-related integrations — Best-effort Bedrock player avatar lookups where supported.
  • Placeholder support — Platform-specific placeholder integrations and resolver APIs where available.

Some features and integrations are platform-specific. Check the documentation for your selected download before assuming every feature works identically across all loaders.

Downloads and Platform Compatibility

Choose the download that matches your server software.

Platform Download
Paper Paper plugin JAR
Spigot Spigot-compatible plugin JAR
Fabric Fabric mod JAR
Forge Forge mod JAR
NeoForge NeoForge mod JAR

Important: Do not put a Fabric, Forge, or NeoForge mod JAR into a Bukkit plugins folder. Likewise, do not install the Paper/Spigot plugin as a mod. Each platform requires its corresponding build.

Administrator Setup — Paper/Spigot

Administrator access uses the vanilla entity tag Admin by default. You can change the tag using admin-tag in config.yml.

Give a player administrator access with:

/tag <player> add Admin

Administrator commands:

  • /admin balance <set/add> <player> <amount> — Manage player balances.
  • /admin givecompass <player> — Give a player the essentials compass.
  • /admin tag <add/remove> <online-player> — Manage the configured administrator tag.
  • /admin reload — Reload the plugin configuration.

Permissions — Paper/Spigot

  • blemmessentials.rtp — Use random teleport. Default: true.

Configuration

The Paper/Spigot version uses plugins/BlemmEssentials/config.yml for settings such as:

  • starting-balance — Starting money for new players.
  • max-homes — Maximum number of homes per player.
  • tpa-timeout-seconds — How long teleport requests remain active.
  • auction-expiration-hours — How long auction listings remain active.
  • admin-tag — The vanilla entity tag that grants administrator access.
  • rtp — Random teleport minimum radius, maximum radius, and placement attempts.
  • shop — Configured shop items and their individual buy and sell prices. Set either price to 0 to disable that action.

Configuration options and file locations can differ between platform builds.

Installation

Paper/Spigot

  1. Download the Paper/Spigot JAR matching your server version.
  2. Place it in your server's plugins folder.
  3. Start or restart the server.
  4. Edit plugins/BlemmEssentials/config.yml to customize the settings.
  5. Use /admin reload to apply supported configuration changes.

Fabric, Forge, and NeoForge

  1. Download the JAR for your specific mod loader.
  2. Check the release's Minecraft version and loader compatibility.
  3. Install the JAR in your server's mods folder.
  4. Ensure the server is running a compatible version of the selected loader.
  5. Start the server and check its logs for any errors.

Do not install the -sources.jar file. That archive contains source code for developers; it is not the mod itself.
