There are 100+ new fishes ready for you to catch and record in your catalogue, uniquely restricted by biome, weather, daytime, elevation and more!

Starcatcher features a handy book companion to aid you throughout your angler journey! It will guide you through all the content Starcatcher has, alongsides cataloguing all your catches 🐟

Tackle Boxes

Tackle boxes allow you to store your Fishes, Hooks, Bobbers, baits, as well as modify your rod attachements! It's important to use the correct attachments when hunting for the harder fish 🎣

Aquariums ♒

Starcatcher features a dynamic multi-block aquarium to display your fish! You can interact with a few different items to change that block's decoration.

Starcaught fish placed inside will be scaled based on their size & weight percentile 🤏

Trophies & Secrets

There are a lot of Trophies to collect and Secrets to uncover! Keep your eyes out for bottles and you might just be able to follow along the story of anglers from many moons ago

Players can also write their own message-in-a-bottle and send them out to sea for other players to fish up 📜🍾

Cosmetics

There's a lot of different cosmetics to collect! Fisherman Hats can be found inside shipwrecks, whilst templates for your Rod & Tackle are found mostly through treasures!

Selling Bin 💰

Starcatcher features wd's Selling Bin to allow for the selling of fishes and other items 💸 The sale price is based on the Size & Weight, with a bonus for Golden Fish!

Tournaments! 🏆

Do you consider yourself the best fisherman in all of the overworld? Why not put it to the test against your friends with the tournament system? 🏆

v3+ had some major changes to the difficulty system, and as such compatibility will be added back over the upcoming updates. You can still implement compatibility yourself through datapacks.

EMI/JEI

Both EMI & Jei feature custom integration with Starcatcher. The guide book will NOT display recipes for the mod. It is recommended you use either JEI or EMI for recipe lookup and items usages.
