Gravestone ZT
Automatically protects your inventory on player death by placing a safe 3D gravestone in the world.
Quick answer
Which Gravestone ZT release should I use?
Gravestone ZT 26.3-1.1.4-neoforge targets 26.3 with NeoForge. Installation on the client is optional. Installation on the dedicated server is optional. All 2 required mods have matching files.
Where it goes
Is Gravestone ZT required on the client, server, or both?
Installation on the client is optional. Installation on the dedicated server is optional.
The source marks this as usable on both the client and server.
What else does Gravestone ZT 26.3-1.1.4-neoforge need?
26.3-1.1.4-neoforge. Change the file and its required mods may change too.
Install Zero Lib, Architectury API first. We found matching files for this game-version and loader setup.
We only count dependency files that match this setup. A file for another loader does not fill the gap.

About this project
What does Gravestone ZT add?
Gravestone
Keep your inventory safe after death and find your way back without guessing. Gravestone places a protected grave near your death location, stores your items and equipment, and records every active grave until its contents are recovered or the grave is deliberately removed.
Features
- Protects your inventory, armor, hands, and all six Zero Accessories slots when that mod is installed
- Searches for a safe nearby position instead of placing the grave in lava or water
- For void deaths, tries the last safe ground in the same dimension before creating a rescue platform
- Rescue platforms look like stone or end stone and resist explosions, the Ender Dragon, the Wither, and pistons
- If placement is blocked, keeps your items saved and automatically retries when a safe location becomes available
- Shows the owner's name above the grave with a floating label
- Opens a 54-slot grave screen for inspecting and withdrawing stored items
- Supports quick looting with sneak + right-click
- Restores inventory, armor, hands, body equipment, and Zero Accessories to their original slots
- Leaves anything that does not fit safely inside the grave
- Prevents unrelated items from being inserted into the grave
- Blocks hoppers, pistons, fire, lava, explosions, and unauthorized players
- Supports multiple active graves for the same player
- Provides clickable, copyable coordinates after death
- Lets players remove unwanted graves by ID or delete all of their own graves
- Works in single-player, integrated servers, and dedicated-server multiplayer
- Dedicated Fabric and NeoForge builds
Finding your graves
After a grave is created, its coordinates appear in chat. Click the coordinates to copy them; hover over them to see the dimension, age, and remaining item count.
/grave locate— show your latest active grave, its distance, age, and remaining contents/grave list— show all your active graves, newest first, including their IDs/grave locate <player>— allow server administrators to locate another player's latest grave/grave list <player>— allow server administrators to list another player's active graves/grave restore <id>— allow server administrators to restore a missing grave near themselves
Graves waiting for safe placement appear in the search commands with their saved item count and recovery ID.
Graves from older installations are added to search when their chunks are loaded. A fully recovered or deliberately removed grave disappears from the active list automatically.
Recovering your items
Right-click your grave to inspect its contents. Sneak and right-click to recover everything that fits immediately. You can also break your own grave to recover its contents, but the grave stays protected if your inventory cannot hold the remaining items.
Only the owner and server administrators can open or break a grave.
Removing unwanted or broken graves
Available from Gravestone 1.1.4:
/grave remove <id>— permanently remove one of your own graves; server administrators can also remove another player's grave by ID/grave remove all— permanently remove only your own graves across all dimensions, including graves waiting for safe placement
Use /grave list to find your grave IDs. Administrators can use /grave list <player> to find another player's grave IDs.
Removal happens immediately, without confirmation, and permanently deletes all remaining items together with the grave and its floating label. Removed graves stop retrying placement and cannot be brought back with /grave restore <id>. Recover anything you want to keep before removing a grave.
/grave remove all always affects only the player running the command, even when that player is an administrator. It requires an in-game player and cannot run from the server console. A grave with an unfinished item transfer is skipped; the result reports how many graves were removed and how many could not be removed.
