dotMod
Client-side Fabric PvP/survival utility mod with quick craft, draggable HUD editor, local player name colors, and more.
Quick answer
Which dotMod release should I use?
dotMod 3.0.0 targets 1.21.4 with Fabric. It must be installed on the client. Do not install it on the dedicated server. All 4 required mods have matching files.
Where it goes
Is dotMod required on the client, server, or both?
It must be installed on the client. Do not install it on the dedicated server.
This file is marked client-only.
What else does dotMod 3.0.0 need?
3.0.0. Change the file and its required mods may change too.
Install Cloth Config API, Fabric API, Mod Menu, Text Placeholder API first. We found matching files for this game-version and loader setup. 1 comes through another mod in the chain.
1 extra mod was pulled in by another dependency. Indented rows show who needs each one. We only count dependency files that match this setup. A file for another loader does not fill the gap.

About this project
What does dotMod add?
dotMOD 3.0.0
dotMOD is a client-side Fabric utility mod for Minecraft 1.21.11 and 1.21.4. It requires no
server plugin, custom protocol, or server-side dotMOD installation.
Features
- Quick Craft through ordinary vanilla inventory clicks.
- Draggable anchored HUD editor with snapping, scale, alpha, and custom widgets.
- Target-player HUD with skin head, name, health, and a health bar.
- Local UUID-based player colors and uniform name tags.
- Local InvSeeMenu drafts that never modify the real inventory.
- Inventory presets, best-effort vanilla-click rearrangement, and material helper.
- Parsed inventory search with item, lore, enchantment, count, and durability filters.
- Fast local command history, aliases, recolor tools, and
/dotcommands. - Death History with inventory/effect snapshots and optional deferred screenshots.
- Toggle Walk/Sprint/Shift with captured movement, rebound Sprint-key latching, and safe release.
- Hold/toggle Freelook with enforced third-person orbit and exact restoration.
- Local Full Brightness using night-vision lightmap strength without an effect or gamma changes.
- Runtime-toggled Predictions for projectile paths and impact-block outlines.
- Custom projectile rules and optional collision-aware Riptide landing prediction.
- Explosion Preview with placement/loaded-object cutoff spheres and TNT Timer.
All user-facing configuration and messages are available in English and Russian.
Configuration and versioned feature data are stored below config/dotmod/ with
atomic writes, backups, recovery, and future-schema write protection.
Safety Boundaries
- ISM, search, HUD, helper, death history, Freelook, and Full Brightness are local-only.
- Quick Craft and preset rearrangement use normal synchronized vanilla clicks.
- Freelook does not mutate player yaw/pitch or add look packets.
- Predictions creates no entities or packets and draws a central estimate only;
server RNG, latency, entity collisions, and modified physics can differ. - Explosion checks are read-only. Spheres are entity damage cutoffs, not
guaranteed block-destruction bounds; server RNG/custom physics can differ. - Loaded-block scans are bounded/throttled. Minecart random fuse behavior limits
the timer to fuse state synchronized to the client. - Desktop image actions use argument arrays, never shell command strings.
- No custom payload or server-required feature is registered.

Compatibility
Separate artifacts support Minecraft 1.21.11 and 1.21.4; use the matching+mc... suffix. Rendering, camera, or HUD mods that replace the same internals
may conflict. Server use remains subject to each
server's rules. Automated builds do not imply untested Windows, macOS, Realms,
Paper/Spigot, or graphics-mod compatibility.
