LoFS Classes
LoFS Classes has been created to server as the class mod in an RP Event for Lands of the Fallen Stars server, as well as serve as the main server's future class mod. Of course, feel free to use it, if it fits your server. This mod disables the Vanilla classes
Quick answer
Which LoFS Classes release should I use?
LoFS Classes 1.1.0 targets 1.22.1, 1.22.2, 1.22.3. It must be installed on the client. Installation on the dedicated server is optional. All 3 required mods have matching files.
Where it goes
Is LoFS Classes required on the client, server, or both?
It must be installed on the client. Installation on the dedicated server is optional.
This release supports both sides, but the source does not require it on the server.
What else does LoFS Classes 1.1.0 need?
1.1.0. Change the file and its required mods may change too.
Install Expanded Matter, Regalia, Tailor's Delight first. We found matching files for this game-version and loader setup. 13 come through another mod in the chain.
13 extra mods were pulled in by other dependencies. Indented rows show who needs each one. We only count dependency files that match this setup. A file for another loader does not fill the gap.
Before you install it

About this project
What does LoFS Classes add?
LoFS Classes has been created to server as the class mod in an RP Event for Lands of the Fallen Stars server, as well as serve as the main server's future class mod.
Of course, feel free to use it, if it fits your server.
This mod disables the Vanilla classes and adds 9 "new" ones. It is recommended to not play with other class mods while this one is enabled.
DO NOT ADD THIS TO AN ALREADY RUNNING SERVER, IT DISABLES VANILLA CLASSES, SO ANYONE WITH A CLASS ALREADY SELECTED WILL CRASH IMMIDIETELY.
At a later time I will release a patch that removes the "disables vanilla classes feature", so if you have an already running server, you can migrate everyone with vanilla classes and then remove the patch to keep only these classes.
With the feedback of players we have tried to decrease the ammount of total classes, and also give more unique recipes for each class.
Some of these include:
- Scientist Class (Previously was Alchemist and Healer and got merged) is the only classes that can make any crafting recipe from the Alchemy mod. Without it the class only speciallity is some neat transmutations and the ability to make healing items with 50% more Yield.
- Blacksmith is the only class able to craft Iron Doors, required to make Cementation Furnaces. Is also the only one able to Assemble Chainmails, Scalemails and Platemails. They can also make the Brewing Cauldron for Scientist to brew potions in. Blacksmiths can also create Washery Grade coke for usage in Cementation Furnaces, Beehive Kilns, Thermoelectric Generators and Steam Electric Generators from the EP mod and to use in the advanced machinery of the Steelmaking Expanded mod. Blacksmiths are the only ones able to assemble the gearlock mechanism from the Gearlock mod.
- Artist can create Parchement from cattails and papyrus (there used to be a bug in working classes making this a global recipe), Wallpapers, and Decorated Potery. They also double as Tailors! It is recomended to play with Tailor's Delight mod as well as Regalia (This is a dependency) Artists are the only ones able to sew Leather armor and Leather Jerkin, the first step in making the advanced armors. Artists also get a special backpack they can make, that I kinda took the model from GloomeGloo and eddited it, props to them aswell!
- Stoneworker, is basically a miner + a mason, not much has changed from working classes miner, but compatibility with Geology Additions has been added to Ashlar Brick, Polished Stone Slab, Cobblestone and Drystone recipes. As well as the ability to make cheaper Bricks, Higher yield Refractory Bricks Tier 1 and exclusive Refractory Bricks Tier 2 and 3. They can make some neat Mining Lanterns aswell as better recipes for Mortar and Plaster. They get better blasting power recipe and when Gearlock mod is installed, only stoneworkers can make cartridges.
- Blackguards are the only ones able to assemble the "Antique" Armors (Forlorn and Blackguard) as well as craft Improvised armor and they also have a x3 yield stone path recipe. The class has also gotten some crazy combat buffs.
- Rangers, they are the replacement of Hunters, they can make bows and they also have the road recipes the blackguards have. For their lack of recipes, they have been given foraging, hunting and ranged combat buffs, without melee combat nerfs.
- Carpenter, is the combination of Lumberjack and Carpenter. They get increased yield in firewood and board recipes, increased tress side drops, can make unique plank blocks and can also make paper lanterns.
- Engineer, is clockmaker but they also have all the Electrical Progressive mod series recipes exclusive to them. They can craft guns from the Gearlock mod without the need of a schematic, can make metal parts from metal scrap, a cheaper scrap weapon kit, as well as all the Jonas Devices crafts being exclusive to them. They also get more efficient recipes for most mechanical parts
- Homesteader can salvage vegetables and grain for seeds, make cheaper Terra Pretta and Soil Boosters. They can also make Rot Infused Peat for a massively increased burn duration.
- There are more, but ugh, can't remember them all
This mod as well as the rest of the mod pack will go under testing soon so expect many changes (Unless we nailed it before test server lol)
At a later date this mod will ship with a suggested xskills config.
Dependecies
Tailor's Delight as well as Regalia
Recomened to also play with:
Alchemy and Steelmaking Expanded
Recommended but be careful: Electrical Progressive
Why this mod has dependency to tailor's delight and regalia? Ask Jack, he wanted to put 1 (one) piece of clothing from Regalia on Artist
Special Thanks
To JackEnergy for organizing the event and writing all the little lore things I couldn't be asked to write.
To ViVi_IX for making The Working Classes mod that I used as a stepping stone.
And to GlooMeGlo who made the backpack that we may or may not have copy and pasted from their mod and just edited it. (If you want me to remove it, I totally can no questions asked!)
