SimpleMap
Craftable maps that offer an in-game way to mark locations without using the World Map GUI. These maps work the same as treasure maps or the map to the Resonance Archives do when the World Map is disabled: right-clicking will show a message telling you how far

About this project
What does SimpleMap add?
Craftable maps that offer an in-game way to mark locations without using the World Map GUI. These maps work the same as treasure maps or the map to the Resonance Archives do when the World Map is disabled: right-clicking will show a message telling you how far you are from the map's location. The location for your map is wherever it was crafted, and there is some randomness added depending on what materials you used. Better materials result in more accurate maps. An ink-and-quill and parchment yield the most accurate maps (and you get to reuse the ink-and-quill,) while cruder ingredients like charcoal and linen are still good enough for marking general locations, your base for instance. You can give your maps custom names, rename them, and even duplicate them!
---Recipes---
The materials you use to craft your map with determine how accurate it is. The drawing utensil can be an ink-and-quill, or it can be any material you can use to draw cave art (charcoal, chalk, etc.) The drawing medium can be parchment or linen. There are four distinct combinations, and their accuracies are as follows:
ink-and-quill + parchment:
accurate within 5 blocks
ink-and-quill + linen:
accurate within 20 blocks
[cave art] (e.g. charcoal) + parchment
accurate within 80 blocks
[cave art] (e.g. charcoal) + linen
accurate within 100 blocks
