Alloy Calculator

Alloy Calculator is a lightweight client-side in-game utility for Vintage Story metallurgy.

It allows players to:

• Select an alloy recipe

• Choose the desired ingot amount

• Customize alloy percentages within valid recipe ranges

• Calculate the exact nugget requirements

• Estimate fuel consumption for alloy production and ingot remelting

The mod supports customizable units per ingot, making it compatible with gameplay modifiers and mods such as xSkills that reduce metal consumption.

The integrated Fuel Estimator can calculate approximate fuel requirements for both alloy creation and ingot remelting while automatically filtering fuels that cannot reach the required melting temperature.

A compact icon-based display mode is available to reduce visual clutter while keeping all important information visible. The Fuel Estimator section can also be collapsed when not needed, allowing for a cleaner and more focused interface.

Designed as a Vanilla+ quality-of-life tool, Alloy Calculator does not alter metallurgy gameplay, alloy balance, or fuel mechanics. It simply removes unnecessary external calculations and makes alloy planning more convenient directly in-game.

Most languages currently included should be considered baseline localizations. While they are functional and suitable for public release, they have not been reviewed by native speakers and may contain inaccuracies or unnatural phrasing.

If your language is not available, or if you would like to improve an existing translation, feel free to contact me on Discord and send a translated or corrected version of the en.json language file.
