About this project
What does Workbench Range add?
Workbench Range
Choose how far crafting benches can pull materials from nearby chests. Adjust the horizontal range, vertical range, and maximum number of chests through an in-game menu or a command.
Commands
/bror/benchrangeopens the settings menu./br set 32 16 100sets a 32-block horizontal range, a 16-block vertical range, and a 100-chest limit.
Defaults match the vanilla values of 14 blocks horizontally, 6 blocks vertically, and 100 chests. Horizontal and vertical ranges support 0–128 blocks. The chest limit supports 1–200.
Saved settings persist across restarts and apply to all worlds. Close and reopen the crafting bench after changing them.
Permissions and language
Requires OP or localqol.benchrange.admin to open the menu or change settings.
The menu, command help, and messages follow each player's game language. English is the fallback, with Simplified Chinese included.
Installation
Requires Hytale 0.7.5 and Java 25. Install the JAR in your game's or server's mod directory, enable the plugin, and restart. No additional plugin is required. Nearby Quick Stack is optional and works independently.
Alpha release
This release has been compiled against the Hytale 0.7.5 server and tested with automated checks. In-game UI rendering, multiplayer behavior, and world reloads still need verification.
The range override uses a version-specific reflection bridge. Other plugins that replace the same crafting configuration may conflict. Crafting and material consumption continue to use Hytale's existing system.
