About this project
What does GMC's Useful Gadgets add?
This mod is a lightweight utility mod focused on adjusting vanilla mechanics and adding practical tools. These features are designed to improve the SkyBlock gameplay experience. Most gameplay adjustments can be enabled or disabled through the server configuration, and the new recipe types include JEI integration.
More function or features will be added in future update.
Item/Tools added:
Wooden / Stone Shears
· Shears crafted with two wooden planks or two cobblestone. They function like vanilla shears but lower durability.
Wooden Weaving Needle
· it can weave Short Grass, various vines, Cobwebs held in the off-hand into String. Weaving recipes can be modified or added through data packs and KubeJS.
Auto Crusher
· By default, it can crush cobblestone into gravel and gravel into sand, with a chance to produce additional outputs. Auto Crushing recipes can be edited or added using data packs and KubeJS, and each recipe supports one input material and up to nine outputs.
Flight Ring
· Grants creative flight while equipped. This feature requires both Curios and Apothic Attributes. Without the required dependencies the ring is just a normal item.
Forge Hammer
· Right-clicking the top of Obsidian summons a falling Damaged Anvil, making it easier to perform recipes that require falling anvils. It can also be used as an iron pickaxe. Mining Cobblestone with the hammer crushes it into Gravel, while mining Gravel crushes it into Sand.
Durable Forge Hammer
· An upgraded Forge Hammer with the same functionality, but much higher durability and fire resistance.
Mechanic Adjustments:
These features can be toggled through the configuration.
Infinity and Mending Compatibility
· Allows the vanilla Infinity and Mending enchantments to be applied to the same bow.
Infinity Without Arrows
· Bows enchanted with Infinity can fire regular arrows even when the player has no arrows in their inventory.
Wheat Seed Block Interactions
· Wheat Seeds can be consumed to turn Dirt into a Grass Block, grow Short Grass on a Grass Block, or grow Short Grass into Tall Grass.
Create Crushing Wheel Structure Recipe
· When Create is installed, Polished Andesite, Andesite Alloy Blocks, and Andesite Casing can be assembled into a specific structure. Strike its center with a Forge Hammer to quickly create a Crushing Wheel.
