About this project

What does Slate Server add?

Slate Server

Beta. An early build of Slate: expect bugs, you can report them on the Discord.

Slate Server gives a server the everyday tools: homes, warps, teleports, mail, kits, nicknames, statistics, roles and moderation. Every feature is a command, so players without the mod have all of it; players with it get menus.

Getting around

  • /home, /warp, /spawn, /back, /tpa, and /rtp to a safe random place.
  • Every teleport has a warm-up and a cool-down, lands on safe ground and brings the animal you ride.

Players

  • Idle players marked, mail, kits, nicknames, rules and announcements.
  • Statistics and rankings for everyone: play time, deaths, kills, distance or any statistic of the game.

Roles and moderation

  • Roles with permissions, a prefix and a colour; Player, Moderator and Admin come ready. LuckPerms is asked first when installed.
  • Mute, freeze, warn, kick and bans, vanish and inventory views, all written to an audit log.

Requirements

Minecraft 1.21.1 (NeoForge or Fabric, Java 21) and 1.20.1 (Forge or Fabric, Java 17); on Fabric with Fabric API. Needs Slate Core. It goes on the server and is optional on the client. It never takes over another mod's command: a word that is taken is typed /slateserver <word>.
