About this project

What does Classic Farlands add?

The Far Lands

This mod brings back the Far Lands in their classic appearance to modern versions (1.21+).

By default they generate at X or Z coordinates 12,550,821 and higher in all three dimensions, but the distance is configurable. Install McQoy for a client GUI or QoMC for server commands.

As a side effect, Monolith-like formations may also generate before the far lands at extreme distances.

I was inspired to make this mod by AvM episode 37 and the news of KurtJMac reaching the far lands.

Compat

  • ⚠️ Far lands mods are incompatible with C2ME.
  • Thanks to Mixson, v1.1.0+ should be compatible with almost all worldgen mods/datapacks!
