Everything in Starcatcher can be costumized to fit your style.

Using datapacks you can easily:

• Add new fishable entries
• Remove or edit existing entries
• Modify the treasure pool each fish has
• Edit the Minigame Difficulty per-entry
• Modify which items have which fishing modifiers
• Modify which items act as hooks, bobbers & bait
• Add new Secrets
• Add new Trophies
• Modify what can be sold in the Selling Bin
• Modify the available Selling Bin currencies
• And everything else datapacks can already modify, such as recipes, tags etc.

🌸 Built with Accessibility in Mind 🌸

Not sure how to make datapacks but want to change some settings? No problem, Starcatcher features a lot of accessibility settings designed to ease out the minigame difficulty for those who want a more relaxed experience.

Using the in-game config menu you can adjust global multipliers for:

• Vanishing rate of vanishing sweet-spots
• Moving Rate of moving sweet-spots
• Missing penalty
• Total fish HP
• Handle speed
• Swimaway speed (decay)

You can also change miscellanious behaviour such as:

• Disable the minigame completely
• Hide catches until found
• Min & Max ticks for a fish to bite
• Disable tackle-box item restriction
• Fish models max & min scale
• Hide catches during the minigame
• Hide treasures during the minigame
• Enable rod durability
• Enable FTB Team catch-sharing
• And much more!

v3+ had some major changes to the difficulty system, and as such compatibility will be added back over the upcoming updates. You can still implement compatibility yourself through datapacks.
