About this project
What does Takedown Protocol add?
Takedown Protocol
Takedown Protocol brings deep tactical PvP, realistic close-quarters combat, and hardcore roleplay mechanics to Minecraft (NeoForge 1.21.1). This mod allows you to temporarily incapacitate enemies, search their belongings, drag their bodies, and take them prisoner. Perfect for tactical servers, RP worlds, and PvP factions!
🔥 Key Features:
- ⚔️ Advanced Knockout System
- Directional Takedowns: Knock out an enemy with a single precise strike from behind, or 2-3 hits from the front.
- Weapon Combat: Use a firearm buttstroke (melee attack) or any blunt weapon to deliver the blow.
- Combo System: Chain hits within a tight time window to trigger a frontal knockout.
- Immersive Effects: While unconscious, victims experience a completely black screen or heavy blur, and all in-game audio is realistically muffled.
- 🔒 Restraint & Containment System
- Binding Enemies: Tie up unconscious or vulnerable targets using String to strip them of their mobility.
- Bound State: Restrained players are completely immobilized on the ground but retain their vision and hearing.
- 🔍 Interactions with Incapacitated Players
- Full Looting & Robbery: Open and search the inventory of any bound or unconscious character to steal their armor, weapons, and resources.
- Body Transport: Pick up vulnerable players on your shoulders using a Lead to evacuate injured allies or transport prisoners.
- Finishing Moves: Execute knocked-out enemies to end the fight permanently.
- ⛓️ Liberation & QTE Escape Mini-Game
- Solo Escape (QTE): Trapped players can break free alone by rapidly spamming a designated key to fill a progress bar. Beware—the bar decays if you stop pressing! Takes ~25 seconds of continuous effort.
- Ally Rescue & Tools: Friends can untie you in just ~6 seconds. You can also instantly cut anyone's ropes using Shears or any sharp weapon (like swords or knives).
⚙️ Fully Configurable
Everything is adjustable via the server configuration file:
- Knockout durations, hit counts, and directional modifiers.
- QTE mini-game difficulty, escape times, and decay rates.
- Allowed weapons, items used for binding/cutting, looting permissions, and visual/audio effects.
🔌 Mod Compatibility & Requirements
- Minecraft Version: 1.21.1
- Mod Loader: NeoForge
- Timeless and Classics Zero (Unofficial TaCZ): Priority integration out of the box! Knockout mechanics are fully compatible with melee strikes from all TaCZ firearms.
- Super B Warfare: Fully integrated with custom military gear and weapons for clean tactical takedowns.
- First aid: Looting and dragging systems work in a near-death state
- Vanilla Friendly: Easily add support for Vic's Point Blank, CGM (MrCrayfish's Gun Mod), or any custom modded items through the configuration file.
