✨ Overview

Majestic is a magic and adventure mod built around the sky itself: stars, constellations, light and ether. Power isn't handed to you — you find it in the world, refine it through ritual, and carry it as a spell, an artifact, or knowledge no one else has. Three linked layers — rituals & research, spells, and relics — each unlock the next, gated behind exploration. Majestic is currently in early alpha: one school, four spells, a focus, and the essence resource that powers them. Rituals, the research tree, relics, a dedicated dimension, structures and bosses are on the roadmap — see the version history for what's implemented today.

🎯 Features (Alpha)

🌟 The Starlight School

Four spells cast through a single focus: Starlight Bolt (a piercing hitscan that damages and blinds), Starlight Ward (Absorption and Regeneration for yourself), Starlight Reveal (marks nearby hostiles with Glowing), and Starlight Surge (a burst of Speed).

🔮 Essence

A single magic resource that regenerates passively when you're out of combat. A HUD readout appears whenever you hold your focus, showing your current essence and its cap.

🔮 The Starlight Focus

Your channel for casting. Right-click to cast; each spell respects its own cooldown. The ritual to change which spell your focus casts is still on the roadmap — for now it always casts Starlight Bolt.

🔮 What's Next

Rituals and altars, a research tree of constellations, relics with set synergies, a dedicated Celestial Plane dimension with its own structures and bosses, a full questline, and an in-game guide book. Follow the version history for progress.

🎮 How to Use

1. Install NeoForge 21.1.249 for Minecraft 1.21.1.
2. Install Majestic together with Astral Core and Almanac Core, on both client and server.
3. There's no crafting recipe for the focus yet — grab it from the creative inventory or with /give @s majestic:starlight_focus.
4. Run /majestic status in-game to check your essence and spell cooldowns.

Early alpha. This is a first playable slice, not a finished mod — expect missing features and rough edges between betas.
